Unsettled Arsenal forward to make Galatasaray switch

Galatasaray interested to sign Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck in this transfer window.

Turkish club had a great season as they won Super Lig and qualified in Champions League. Now they want to improve the squad and primary target is English striker. Bafetimbi Gomis already 33-year-old and he needs replacement. Danny also wants to leave the Gunners to get regular game time.

Everton and Newcastle were also tried to add Welbeck but transfer window for Premier League clubs closed and now Galatasaray are favourite to sign England international. The 27-year-old joined Arsenal from Man United in 2014 with a £20m deal. Last season he played 50 games, scored 11 goals and made 2 assists in all competition. This isn’t a bad result but he can do much more if he gets a regular place in starting line-up.

Danny is contracted with the London club until 2019 and his release clause is around £30m. Fenerbahce also interested to add him in this summer and his price could increase during the battle. Despite this, Welbeck is a top-class striker and Galatasaray can sign him with the cheapest price. Unai Emery has different visions and plans in the club and English forward is unnecessary at the moment.
