Arsenal to sign another goal keeper

London club keen on signing Burnley shot-stopper Nick Pope and ready to compete with Liverpool for the footballer.

Arsenal have problems in the back-line as Petr Cech planning to retire after this season, David Ospina preparing to remain in Napoli, Emiliano Martinez joined Reading and their replacement is necessary.

England international is the best option in this situation as he also wants to get regular game time and set change the working place. Unai will do everything to add him during the summer transfer window.

Reds also interested to sign him and there will be a real battle for the goalkeeper. His price could increase and become much more. Nick joined the Clarets from Charlton Athletic in 2016 with a £2m deal.

He is one of the best goalkeepers in Premier League and an important figure for the club. In this campaign, Pope played just 3 matches in all tournament which is a bad result for the shot-stopper. He should leave the club if he wants to improve his consequences much more.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper is contracted with the English club until 2020 and his release clause is around £20m.

He is a regular member of the Three Lions squad and also picked up in 2018 World Cup team which is already a big achievement for the shot-stopper. Gunners ready to pay big money for the player as Bernd Leno needs a back-up for the next season.

English club also linked with Belgian attacker Yannick Carrasco, Benfica defender Alex Grimaldo, Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic and PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
