FINALLY! Mesut Özil makes final decision on his move

According to reports, German international Mezut Ozil has confirmed that he will fight for his place in the starting lineup at the Emirates Stadium.

The midfielder recently signed a new long-term contract with the Gunners in February, but the midfielder is not regarded as first choice by new manager Unai Emery and it has left the North London outfit potentially being open to offers for the German’s signature.

ESPN revealed that Ozil will not look to secure a loan move away from the club during the January transfer window.

They claim that the 30-year-old would prefer to convince his new manager that he deserves to be at the Emirates, while he is also confident that opportunities will be given to him due to the club’s potential hectic schedule in different competitions.

The World Cup winner has contributed this season four goals and two assists from 16 outings in the Premier League and Europa League this season.
