The Italian duo AC Milan and Inter Milan are both believed to be interested in landing Mesut Ozil from the London-based outfit Arsenal.
According to reports in the Italian media, both clubs are reportedly keen as the German attacking midfielder’s future at the Emirates Stadium is looking bleak.
The star was left out of the matchday team to face local rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Huddersfield and the Gunners showed no signs of missing the star’s influence on the pitch.
It has been suggested that the midfielder has endured a rocky relationship with new coach Unai Emery, with concerns being raised about the former Real Madrid player’s attitude and work ethic.
The 30-year-old star has started 10 times in the Premier League this campaign but has not featured since the 1-1 home draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers back at the start of November.
Ozil has long been connected with moves away from the Emirates Stadium, but due to the player’s huge wages, the Gunners may struggle to find any possible suitors who are willing to pay for the star’s earnings in full.
