Arsenal Manager to sell Mesut Özil in January

Arsenal manager preparing to sell Mesut Ozil in this January when the transfer window opens again. Germany international had a terrible season at the London club and started this campaign badly too. Unai Emery doesn’t need unnecessary players in the club and ready to listen to offers in this winter.

 

Several big clubs like Man United ready to pay big money for the player as Mesut still can play in high-class. Gunners added Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi in this summer and Spanish manager planning to use them and replace Ozil. German midfielder joined London club from Real Madrid in 2013 with a €45m deal. Last season he played 32 games, scored 5 goals and made 12 assists in all competition. This is a good result and he can improve his consequences much more.

 

The 29-year-old is contracted with Arsenal until 2021 and his release clause is nearly €45m. Several high-class midfielders are on Emery’s radar and if Mesut will leave the Gunners during the winter transfer window, Spaniard will try to add one of them. Hector Herrera and Evera Banega are heavily linked with Arsenal and Unai will do everything to improve the squad.
