Michael Owen has poured cold water on talk of Arsenal finishing in the Premier League’s top four this season.

Former Liverpool FC striker Owen ruled out Arsenal making a return to the Champions League this term.

“I’m not convinced Emery has got the nucleus of a side which will see the Gunners’ compete for a top four spot this season and it will be interesting to see how things pan out with Mezut Ozil with the German reportedly missing the game against the Hammers through illness,” Owen told BetVictor.
