Arsenal long-term target Kingsley Coman decided to remain in Bayern and rejected the offer from the Gunners. Unai Emery tried to sign him during the summer as he wanted to strengthen the front-line but finally, Kingsley prefered to stay in Germany. The main reason is that Ribery and Robben will retire soon and he can become an unchanged figure for the Bavarians.
Coman joined the club from Juventus in 2017 with a £20m deal. The 22-year-old is contracted with Bayern until 2023 and his release clause is around £45m. In this season he played 35 games, scored 9 goals and made 5 assists in all competition. This is a good result for the player who mainly sits on the bench and if he gets a regular place in the starting line-up he can improve his consequences much more.
Gunners wanted to add several high-class wingers in this summer as they have only Alex Iwobi and Mkhitaryan in attack but no one accepted Arsenal offers in this transfer window. Now it is closed and the London club can try to add forwards in Winter transfer window. Pavon and Lucas Vazquez also refused to join them.
